About this course
High risk work licence training for counterbalance forklift, delivered over two days on our own Toyota forklift with a dedicated hardstand and warehouse area.
What the course covers
- High risk work licensing, legislation and operator responsibilities
- Pre-operational and routine machine inspection
- Load assessment, load charts and stability
- Picking up, carrying, stacking and de-stacking loads
- Operating in confined areas, ramps and around pedestrians
- Shutdown, securing and refuelling procedures
- Assessment against the national high risk work standard
Who it's for
- New operators applying for an LF high risk work licence
- Warehouse, transport and yard operators
- Employers upskilling staff to run their own plant
Before you enrol
- 18 years or older
- Photo ID and a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- Sufficient English language, literacy and numeracy to complete the licence assessment
On completion
Notice of Satisfactory Assessment on successful completion, used to apply to WorkSafe Queensland for your LF high risk work licence.
